Responsibility:

• Perform machine capability analysis to ensure measurement compliance during the production process within the established time according to CP and CPK studies, evaluating samples according to established standards.
• Carry out analysis of the flow study checking the layout of the organization in order to reduce time and space in the production process, evaluating operations and manufacturing times with the aim of organizing the layout.
• Develop new direct material suppliers aiming to reduce costs and optimize the production process, evaluating the supplier in accordance with the established procedure.
• Analyze production capacity of new products and processes to be implemented in the organization, ensuring adaptation and increased productivity, surveying all needs.
• Analyze and design the tooling of production machines for machining or purchasing them, ensuring their continuous productivity, avoiding machinery downtime, manufacturing them using AutoCAD.
• Define standardized scopes and implement process automation.
• Provide quotations for special tools (drills, taps and milling cutters outside the standard line), analyzing manufacturing feasibility and working in the area of product engineering.
• Comply with Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection (EHS) standards and procedures defined by law and formalized by Sandvik locally and globally, seeking to mitigate the risks of accidents and incidents as well as ensuring the integrity of the material, human and environmental assets under responsibility of the organization.

Required Competencies :

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14000/ISO45000
• Knowledge & experience in optimization of processes/Cycle timings/Layouts
• Knowledge of Management System Tools (Quality, Environment, Safety);
• Knowledge & Experience in the related Industrial Segment.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing
